Trudy Walker is the daughter of Anne Walker and George Dixon, the legal daughter of Arnold Walker, and the younger maternal half-sister of Juliana Crain.

Secretly a member of the Resistance, she is killed by Takeshi Kido after giving a copy of The Grasshopper Lies Heavy to Juliana. Due to being a Traveler, however, she returns from another timeline where Juliana died.

Biography

Early Life

Trudy was conceived during a fling between Anne Walker and George Dixon after Anne was widowed and they thought they were going to die. Her mother didn't find out she was pregnant until she was already with Arnold Walker, and both parties decided it would be best if the child believed Arnold to be their father.

Trudy had a vivid imagination as a child, and was not scared of anything as long as her older sister Juliana Crain could make it into a story or a game. Trudy was a young child when the Japanese took over America, and grew up in the Japanese Pacific States.

Season One

Trudy is shot by Kempeitai officers led by Takeshi Kido for her involvement with the Resistance and transportation of the illegal film The Grasshopper Lies Heavy, although she manages to give her copy to Juliana before being killed. Juliana later seemingly sees her in a market, but then finds her body in a mass grave.

Season Two

When Juliana and Hawthorne Abendsen meet after Juliana kills George, Hawthorne brings her to Trudy, apparently alive once again.

Season Three

It is revealed that Trudy is actually a Traveler from a different world where Juliana died. As a result of belonging to another timeline, she begins to grow ill. Caroline Abendsen remarks that Trudy and Juliana are drawn to each other due to losing their respective sisters in their own timelines.

After leaving the Abendsens' farm, Trudy is arrested with Juliana by the Kempeitai. Her appearance comes as a natural shock to Kido, having previously killed her. Juliana attempts to get Trudy to return to her timeline, but Trudy refuses. The sisters are later released on the orders of Nobusuke Tagomi.

Trudy ultimately returns to her timeline through Tagomi's assistance.
