Noriyuke Tagomi is the son of Nobusuke Tagomi and Michiko Tagomi.
In the series' main timeline, Noriyuke was killed when he was fighting against the Allies, during World War II. His mother, Michiko, had also died in the war as well. In an alternate world, however, where Japan was defeated by the Allied Powers, Noriaki and Michiko are still alive.
In an alternate world, where the allies won World War II, he is now a Japanese-American citizen, protesting the Cuban Missile Crisis. He is the husband of the alternate Juliana Crain, and also has a son with her.

After the end of World War II, during the Cold War, Nobusuke, Michiko, and Noriyuke had immigrated to the United States to start their new lives. Sometime during his time in America, he met with the alternate Juliana Crain at college. He and Juliana now later have their infant son, Donny.

After the alternate Nobusuke has mysteriously disappeared, the alternate Noriyuke and Juliana began to start protesting against the Cuban Missile Crisis.
