Michiko Tagomi is the wife of Nobusuke Tagomi, and Noriaki's mother.
In the series main timeline, Michiko and her son were killed during World War II. But in an alternate timeline, where Japan was defeated by the Allied powers, Michiko and her son are still alive.

Early Life[]
After the end of World War II, during the Cold War, Nobusuke, Michiko, and Noriyuke had immigrated to the United States to start their new lives. During the time in America, a restrained relationship between her husband caused them to become estranged.
Season Two[]
The alternate Nobusuke disappears out of nowhere, causing Michiko to be heartbroken and devastated.
