The American Reich Bureau of Investigation (ARBI) is the primary law enforcement agency in the American Reich. It was previously called the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
History[]
The organisation was previously known as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which was founded in July 26, 1908 as a federal investigative law enforcement agency within the United States. It went through a series of name changes during its existence, starting off as the Bureau of Investigation (BOI), but was later renamed the United States Bureau of Investigation (USBI) in 1932 and the Division of Investigation (DOI) before becoming the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 1935.
After the United States and its allies lost World War II and were subsequently invaded and integrated into the Greater Nazi Reich on September 18th, 1947, the FBI was absorbed into the Sicherheitsdienst (SD), the intelligence agency of the Schutzstaffel, and reorganized as the ARBI. It can be assumed that allowing the ARBI to operate under its current name (instead of just the SD) was to keep an air of familiarity within the populace. Its intended goal is to maintain Nazi control in America by removing all opposition and disloyalty in the American Reich as well as keeping ideological purity among the population. following the betrayal of J. Edgar Hoover and the death of John Smith, the ARBI was dissolved and restored as the FBI by Bill Whitcroft as his plan to restore the United States and restore civil liberties.
Organisation[]
Leadership[]
The ARBI, much like its predecessor, is led by a Director, who presumably reports to higher ranking members of the Sicherheitsdienst in Berlin. As of 1962 the current Director of the ARBI is J. Edgar Hoover, who was the head of the former FBI, before the Nazi rule and decided to collaborate with the new order.
Headquarters[]
Much like the SS, the ARBI also has a headquarters based in New York City.
