Alexa Davalos is an actress who plays the role of Juliana Crain in The Man in the High Castle.

The daughter of actress Elyssa Davalos and photographer Jeff Dunas, from whom her mother divorced in 1988 after six years of marriage, and nephew of the famous American actor Richard Davalos, Alexa Davalos is an actress best known for the roles of Juliana Crain, protagonist from the series "The man in the High Castle" and Kyra in the 2004 action film "The Chronicles of Riddick".
Biography[]
Alexa, who is 1.73 meters tall, was born in France on May 28, 1982, but also has Greek ancestors. For this reason, she can speak both languages fluently. The former model is the daughter of actress Elyssa Davalos and award-winning photographer Jeff Dunas.
She had her first acting experience at the tender age of three in John Frankenheimer's "Riviera". This is how she fell in love with acting and performing on stage. When she moved to New York with her family, she took ballet lessons. She thus followed in the footsteps of her mother, who became famous through various TV and theater productions, and in those of her legendary grandfather Richard Davalos, who played alongside James Dean in "East of Eden".
During her childhood, Alexa watched her mother rehearse. She fondly remembers the lessons of Stella Adler, a Broadway celebrity who opened a kind of acting school in New York, which further strengthened her desire to act. Later, she also accompanied her mother to the various theaters and helped out wherever she could. As a teenager, she then shot her first commercial.
As she grew older, she worked as a model and began studying acting at "The New School" in New York. She also worked at the renowned Flea Theater. Only recently did she move from New York to Los Angeles.
In 2003, she played a young actress alongside Antonio Banderas in the Critic's Choice Award-nominated film "And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself" by Bruce Beresford. She also made her breakthrough with "The Chronicles of Riddick". In 2015, she landed a leading role in the Prime Video series "The Man in the High Castle".
